    Technically, IBS is not caused by obesity, but the food choices you make, your general health and exercise routine do – so they are linked. Obesity, reflux and IBS are all symptoms of poor health caused by bad food and lifestyle choices - are can cause further serious health problems. Improve your diet by cutting out refined foods, simple carbohydrates, sugar, salt, saturated fat, and increasing your fluid (water intake) fibre and fresh vegetable and fruit. I’m sure you know what foods are bad – avoid chips, cakes, fast food, pastries, soda etc.– anything you can’t see the original raw unrefined ingredients in. Also reduce your general calorie consumption and get some exercise and drink plenty of water to get everything moving. This is basic stuff.
